SME would like to thank DAV Chapter 15, of Salyersville, for visiting our school last month. Our Roar Guard leadership team requested their help in learning proper protocols in the raising, lowering, folding, and care for our nation's flag. Members of the DAV also discussed the history, importance, and respect the flag deserves, and why. Students are grateful for these veterans continued service to their country, community, and our school.
